Saturday March 17 - Spring Volunteer Orientation

Saturday March 17 from 11 to 1, 1ife’s Journey will hold its spring volunteer orientation and sign up in the lounge at Ramapo Equestrian Center.   You do not need to have any experience (we will train you) but you should be comfortable around horses and be physically fit.  All forms will be available at the orientation or you can download them from the site. Please call LJET at (845) 354 3780 or email info@lifesjourneyet.org  to RSVP.

Sunday April 1 - Spring Programs Begin

Sunday April 1 will be the first day of spring programs.  Early registration is available to returning riders as of February 15 with open registration beginning March 1.  Lesson times are limited so please do not wait.  This year, due to the many Sunday holidays, we will be having a staggered start with Sundays beginning April 1 and Saturdays and weekdays beginning the week of April 14.  All therapeutic riding participants are required to purchase an eight lesson package to be used within our ten week semester.  Life’s Journey spring programs include therapeutic riding for individuals, group lessons, field trips, and other equine assisted activities and therapies including hippotherapy in association with Milestones Integrated Services.  This spring a grant from the Slater Jett Meyers Foundation will allow LJET to partially sponsor the first eight participants to qualify for hippotherapy services.  Please call or email for more information.

Monday June 18 - 2nd Annual "Par for the Horse" Golf Outing

Monday June 18 is the date of our second annual golf outing we call “Par for the Horse” to be held at Spook Rock Golf Course.  Please contact LJET for information about participation, sponsorship opportunities, auction items and donations.  We are also looking for individuals to join our golf committee to help make this year’s event as successful and exciting as last year!

Coming this spring!!!

Exciting additions to our barn activity trail and a winding, wooded extension to our sensory trail.
